At the beginning of the meeting, the leadership of the Association presented the Iranian company with detailed information about the production potential of the leather and footwear industry of our country, investments, export indicators, created conditions for foreign investors and benefits provided.

It should be noted that Hamidi Plast, at the expense of 400 thousand dollars of investments, launched a new project for the production of shoes in a small industrial zone in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region. The company aims to produce seasonal shoes, which are currently not produced in our country. It is planned to reach full production capacity in 2023.

During the dialogue, the Iranian side announced that it also aims to implement a new investment project for the production of EVA pellets in Uzbekistan. The issue of creating a new enterprise and providing it with raw materials was discussed.

In addition, Hamidi Plast's application for membership in the Association was considered. Now the Iranian company will continue its activities as a foreign enterprise as part of the Uzcharmsanoat Association.

At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the upcoming tasks for the implementation of new projects.
