The possibilities of further development of technical consulting in agriculture and strengthening of multifaceted cooperation relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey were discussed at the meeting.
At the meeting, the Turkish side highly appreciated the development of the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan as a result of the reforms implemented over the past 5 years. Given the need to modernize agriculture in the future, they expressed their willingness to contribute and share their best practices.
Also at the meeting, the Turkish delegation presented the experience of 10 Turkish engineering and technical consulting companies operating in foreign countries and provided information about their international projects.
During the conversation, which took place in a friendly and interactive spirit, issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey in terms of adaptation to climate change in agriculture, soil mechanical composition, climatic conditions of the region, groundwater level and soil layers were discussed. In addition, the exchange of experience on the formation of the existing hydromodule zoning, taking into account the location, was discussed.
A proposal was put forward to conduct joint scientific research aimed at reducing the negative impact on water, soil and useful living organisms in pest control and to study Turkey's experience in insuring crops and livestock against climate change risks, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
