Thus, in the first 9 months of 2024, 82,637 flights were serviced by the republic's international airports, of which 24,914 were to domestic destinations and 57,723 to international ones. The increase compared to last year was 136%. Also, out of the total number of flights, 53,942 flights were operated by resident airlines and 28,695 flights by non-resident airlines.

From January to September inclusive, Uzbekistan's airports served 9,893,947 passengers. Including 1,871,659 passengers who made domestic flights, and 8,022,288 international ones. The increase compared to the same period in 2023 was 133%.

Also, in the third quarter of 2024, 62,067 tons of cargo and mail were handled, which is 121% higher than last year's figures.
