The Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Angola to exchange experience in the field of digital marking and traceability of goods.

The Uzbek side presented the results of the phased and wellthoughtout implementation of the Asl Belgisi system, highlighting the key advantages of the national model, which sets it apart from similar systems in other countries: thorough testing of solutions through pilot projects even before the introduction of mandatory labeling, full integration with electronic invoices, online cash registers and state information systems, as well as endtoend traceability of product movementfrom the manufacturer or importer to the final consumer.

It is precisely this deep integration that constitutes the main value of the Uzbek approach: the system makes it possible to automatically identify gaps in commodity chains and risky transactions, significantly improve the efficiency of tax administration, protect consumers’ rights, support business, and consistently reduce shadow turnover. This comprehensive result — from the fiscal effect to consumer protection — makes Uzbekistan’s experience a soughtafter benchmark for other countries.

Representatives of Angola, in turn, acquainted the Uzbek side with the national PROSEFA program (Programa Nacional de Selos Fiscais de Alta Segurança), under which the country applies labeling of alcoholic and tobacco products. The Angolan colleagues showed particular interest in what the Uzbek model is best at — the experience of integrating labeling with digital tax administration systems and automated control mechanisms.

The parties discussed further opportunities for exchanging experience and developing practical cooperation in this area.

It is noteworthy that the meeting with the Angolan delegation is far from being the first such visit: previously, Uzbekistan’s experience in the field of digital marking was presented to specialists from Egypt, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

This geographical scope of interest — from Africa to Eurasia — clearly confirms that the “Asl Belgisi” system, developed by the Tax Committee together with the national operator “CRPT Turon,” has become one of the recognized and soughtafter models of digital product traceability at the international level.
