According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-July 2025, 12.6 thousand tons of dates worth 9 million US dollars were imported to Uzbekistan from 17 countries.
The volume of imported dates increased by 4.9 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
The countries that supplied the most dates to Uzbekistan in 7 months of this year:
Iran - 9.8 thousand tons;
Tunisia - 810 tons;
Turkey - 396 tons;
Saudi Arabia - 245 tons;
Kazakhstan - 230 tons;
Azerbaijan - 224 tons;
UAE - 196 tons;
other countries - 624 tons.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of Uzbekistan's imports in January-October 2025 amounted to 37.5 billion US dollars. Compared to the same period last year, imports increased by 16.9%.
According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-July 2025, 70.8 thousand tons of corn worth 20.9 million US dollars were imported to Uzbekistan from 17 foreign countries.
According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, Uzbekistan imported 9.9 thousand tons of chocolate and chocolate products worth 31.4 million US dollars from 29 countries.
Banana remains the largest import item in the fruit segment of Uzbekistan in physical terms. Since 2021, the consumption of these products in the country has been steadily growing, regularly updating historical highs. The first half of 2025 was no exception: import volumes reached a new record, EastFruit analysts say.
