The solemn event was attended by President of the World Kickboxing Association Roy Baker, President of ARISF (International Association of Sports Federations recognized by the IOC) Rafael Kully, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasimov, President of the Kickboxing Association of Uzbekistan Asadjon Khojaev, as well as heads of the International Organization by region.
The officials who spoke at the ceremony emphasized the high level of attention paid to sports in our country. A vivid proof of this is the organization of prestigious starts in Uzbekistan. In addition, it was noted that the historical result recorded by Uzbek athletes at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics is a vivid example of the importance that sports are given in our country.
1200 fighters from 53 countries are taking part in the World Cup, which will last until September 29.
