The event
was attended by deputy foreign ministers of the SCO member states, heads of
international and regional organizations, representatives of expert and
analytical circles and research institutions.
The
delegation of Uzbekistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
Mirvohid Azimov.
During the
conference, the parties discussed the role of Central Asia as the geographical
and strategic core of the SCO, which plays a key role in ensuring sustainable
development and stability in the Organization's space, as well as issues of
interconnectedness, expansion of trade and economic cooperation and improvement
of SCO activities.
