The event was held in Jakarta in cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Within the framework of the regional conference, Uzbekistan officially joined the Anti-Corruption Initiative for the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. A total of 34 countries are members of this initiative, including a number of CIS countries.

During the visit, the head of the Uzbek delegation, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Umida Tokhtasheva met with the head of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption in Indonesia, Agus Joko Pramono.

During the meeting, information was provided on the history of the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan, its activities and achievements in a short period of time.

During the talks, the Indonesian side noted the expanding cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural spheres, and also stressed the importance of developing cooperation in the fight against corruption.

The parties reached an agreement on establishing cooperation in the field of combating corruption, signing a Memorandum between the two agencies and developing a joint action Plan.

The Indonesian side noted Uzbekistan's experience in fighting corruption, in particular, the positive results achieved in preventing corruption in the business sector and in everyday life, as well as in the formation of anti-corruption immunity among the population.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Agus Corruption Eradication Commission, Joko Pramono, confirmed the participation of the Indonesian delegation in the Tashkent Anti-Corruption Forum, which will be held in October 2025.
