The event
was attended by representatives of government agencies, international and
regional organizations, the scientific and expert community of the CIS member
states.
In his
speech, A. Saidov emphasized the special importance of international legal
dialogue as an important mechanism for strengthening mutual understanding,
trust and cooperation between the CIS states, and also noted the relevance of
further development of human rights cooperation in the Commonwealth space.
The
participants of the event drew attention to the role of international law in
ensuring sustainable development, maintaining peace and security, as well as in
promoting universal principles of human rights, the rule of law and justice.
The importance of exchanging experience and coordinating efforts in the field
of improving national legal systems, legal education and institutional
strengthening of mechanisms for the protection of human rights and freedoms was
also highlighted.
The forum
has become an important platform for discussing topical legal issues related to
the further development of multilateral cooperation within the CIS, as well as
for developing common approaches to addressing modern legal and human rights
challenges.
