During the conversation, the current state and prospects of cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the UN and its specialized structures were discussed. Special attention is paid to the role of Parliament in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

As noted, in order to implement effective parliamentary control over the implementation of national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development, since 2020, the parliamentary commission has been systematically studying problems and the current state of affairs in the field of sustainable development, and appropriate measures are constantly being taken.
