According to Goskomstat, at the same time, according to the main components of the modules:
- "Capabilities", which includes the "Open Data initiative" in the country, Uzbekistan scored 80 points and took 8th place;
- "Governance", which includes the policy of open data in the country, Uzbekistan scored 52 points and took 19th place. Uzbekistan took 58th place with 32 points.
The first place in the ranking was taken by the USA with 68 points. The 2nd place went to France (66 points) and the 3rd place to Great Britain (65 points).
In the Global Data Barometer, Armenia scored 45 points, the Russian Federation - 42 points, Georgia - 40 points, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan - 24 points, Azerbaijan - 22 points, Belarus - 19 points, Tajikistan - 12 points, Turkmenistan - 6 points.
The Global Data Barometer is a collaborative project that aims to measure the state of data in relation to urgent social issues. Together with regional centers and thematic partners, the organization seeks to assess data availability, governance, capabilities and use around the world to help form a data infrastructure that limits risks and harms in the areas of climate action, company information, healthcare and COVID-19, land resources, political integrity, public finance and public procurement.
