In his speech, a member of the party committee, Deputy director of the Office for Foreign Affairs of the People's Government and Vice President of the Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries of Xing Huidong province stressed that following the results of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to China in January, relations between the two countries reached the highest level and acquired the character of an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership.
He noted that Uzbekistan is one of the first countries to successfully implement trade, economic, transport, logistics, cultural and humanitarian projects with Zhejiang Province. In this context, he noted that in October last year, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov participated in the closing ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou as an honorary guest, and in 2024, the Olhai district of Zhejiang Province and the Syrdarya region signed an agreement on the establishment of twinning regions.
Jiang Fuming, member of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Airport Group Co., Ltd., Secretary of the Party Committee of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Co., Ltd., on behalf of Hangzhou Airport, welcomed the launch of the flight on the new route.
According to him, Hangzhou International Airport is the second largest airport in Eastern China, one of the top 10 airports in the country and one of the top 100 largest airports in the world. In 2019, it successfully entered the list of "one of the busiest airports in the world."
It is noted that with the joint support of the two sides, the flight on the Tashkent - Hangzhou - Tashkent route will continue to operate with high quality and contribute to an increase in passenger traffic, the development of economic and trade exchanges, as well as cultural exchanges between the two countries.
