The International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) is a global network of the future generation of professionals in the nuclear field dedicated to develop new approaches to communicate benefits of nuclear power, as part of a balanced energy mix, promote further peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology for the welfare of mankind, as well as transfer knowledge from the current generation of leading scientists to the next generation and across international boundaries.
According to Alisher Sanetullayev, Executive Director of Tashkent branch of NRNU MEPhI, Uzbekistan is ready to join the world’s nuclear club, and representatives of the “nuclear youth” of Uzbekistan are looking forward to the opening of the next nuclear congress in 2022.
The International Youth Nuclear Congress is held every two years. The IYNC 2020 was held in Sydney, Australia, in March under the theme “Diversity in Nuclear”. Following the IYNC 2020, the venue of the next congress was determined. The delegations of Russia, France, Kenya and Ukraine fought for this right. As a result, Russia won the bidding, inform UzA.
