September, although it is considered an autumn month according to the calendar, but in Uzbekistan, low-cloud and dry weather still prevails in summer, only with a more comfortable temperature background than in summer.
According to long-term climatic data, in most of the territory of Uzbekistan, the average daily air temperature drops below +20 ° C in the last decade of September, but remains close to this value until the end of the month.
Precipitation in September is only slightly more than in August - the driest month of the year. For the most part of the territory, the monthly precipitation is very insignificant and amounts to 2-5 mm, and in the south and the desert zone even less.
Therefore, we can say that the real autumn begins in October, when the days become shorter, the decrease in temperature is more noticeable, the rains fall more often.
Of course, weather conditions in September do not always correspond to climatic, that is, average long-term conditions. In some years, precipitation falls 2-3 times more than normal or the average temperature of the month is 1-1.5 ° C below normal. But such September is rare, on average once every 6-8 years.
In October and, especially, in November, the average air temperature continues to decrease at a higher rate. Precipitation falls more often and in greater quantities. In November, and, much less often, in October, the temperature drops to negative values, and precipitation falls not only in the form of rain, but also in the form of snow.
Autumn in Uzbekistan continues until the average daily air temperature drops to +5 °C. For the most part of the territory, this happens in accordance with the calendar dates, at the very end of November. However, in the north of the republic, the "climatic autumn" ends already in the first decade of November. But in the extreme south, the average daily temperature remains above +5 °C almost until the end of December.
By the end of this week, no significant changes in the weather on the territory of the republic are expected. The weather may worsen next week, but it will be short-lived. We can say that, despite the fact that it is already the middle of September, the "climatic summer" continues in Uzbekistan.
