The meeting was chaired by the Kyrgyz side. The participants discussed the current state of the tourism industry and prospects for expanding cooperation within the SCO.
Within the framework of the event, the Uzbek delegation held a number of bilateral talks, including with Kirill Masharsky, Director of the National Agency for Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Eduard Kubatov, Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Jamshed Djumakhonzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The parties discussed the prospects for further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector. Special attention was paid to expanding cooperation between relevant structures and creating favorable conditions for increasing the tourist flow.
One of the key topics was the formation of a tourist corridor, which will simplify the organization of trips and increase the attractiveness of destinations for travelers. The possibilities of developing new tourist routes aimed at attracting tourists from third countries were also considered.
Following the talks, the participants confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying cooperation and expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives aimed at developing the tourism industry in the region.
