The conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 Moscow time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"It really will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Moscow time, and indeed, as you know, there was some discussion in Moscow and there were talks in Istanbul, and earlier there was a telephone conversation, the first telephone conversation between the two presidents. Therefore, there is a certain understanding, of course," he said.
Peskov stressed that Putin and Trump will talk as much as they see fit.
"There are also a large number of issues related to the further normalization of our bilateral relations and Ukrainian regulation. All this is to be discussed by the two presidents," the press secretary explained.
The Kremlin will decide on the form of the message based on the results of the leaders' conversation, Putin's speech after the talks is not expected, Peskov added.
