According to the decree, a new system will be established in the organizations of the blood service, providing for the following:
From October 1, 2026:
Standard operating procedures and safety protocols are being implemented to regulate all technical and medical processes to ensure the safety and quality of blood products.;
A business process management system is being implemented as part of the "demand – processing – delivery" chain.
From March 1, 2027, the information system "Electronic accounting of blood products" will be introduced.
Starting from October 1, 2026, a system of mandatory two-stage screening of blood products will be introduced in blood service organizations.
