At a meeting with the heads of the Samara State University for International Cooperation, Akmal Akhatov and Mukhtor Nosirov, the parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation, in particular, on the opening of the French Campus educational center at the university.

Maeva-Laurent Godard met with students of the Samarkand University and told them about the educational programs of the French campus, grants for students and many joint educational programs.

"Samarkand State University is one of the oldest and most prestigious higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan," says Maeva-Laurent Godard. - We are witnessing the expansion of cooperation between the university and foreign universities. I was particularly impressed by the interest of young people in the French language and culture. We have negotiated the opening of the French Campus Educational Center at Samarkand State University. I think we will establish mutually beneficial relations and create opportunities for Samarkand students to study in France in the future."
