During the meeting, it was noted that the comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and Mongolia is based on centuries-old friendship, good-neighborly relations, close trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation.
The political will and trust of the leaders of the two countries play an important role in the further development and strengthening of interstate relations.
At the same time, a thorough exchange of views took place on issues related to improving the effectiveness of the interparliamentary group on cooperation between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Great State Hural of Mongolia, as well as establishing joint parliamentary control over the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
It was noted that ensuring timely and full implementation of tasks in the agricultural and food sectors, defined within the framework of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Mongolia, is also the task of the interparliamentary group.
In addition, issues of developing interparliamentary cooperation, enriching it with new content, and exchanging experience in the field of lawmaking were discussed during the meeting.
