During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Japanese cooperation were discussed, with special attention being paid to strengthening interparliamentary dialogue.

Thus, the importance of intensifying the activities of the Japan-Uzbekistan friendship groups, establishing a regular dialogue between parliamentary committees, as well as exchanging experience in the fields of lawmaking, parliamentary control and the activities of regional representative bodies was noted.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen friendly relations and practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
