During the
conversation, the current state and prospects for further development of
friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia were discussed.
It was
emphasized that in recent years, an active and trusting political dialogue
between the leaders of the two countries has brought cooperation to a
qualitatively new level.
The
positive dynamics of contacts in the fields of investment, interregional
cooperation, education, science, innovation, and cultural and humanitarian
exchange were noted.
Special
attention was also paid to the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
The
importance of expanding the activities of the interparliamentary cooperation
groups established in the parliaments of the two countries, exchanging
experience in the field of lawmaking and further intensifying parliamentary
diplomacy was emphasized.
