On October 6, a truly unusual and touching event took place at the Gafur Gulom metro station. While on duty, Naima Makhamajanova, a train reception and dispatch officer, received a message from an internal affairs officer that one of the passengers had become ill.

Quickly assessing the situation, Naima showed professionalism and self-control.: she provided first aid and helped the woman give birth to the baby right at the station.

After giving birth, the attendant provided all the necessary postpartum measures - she tied the umbilical cord, helped the newborn take his first breath and ensured the safety of the mother and baby until the ambulance arrived.

An ambulance team and relatives of the woman in labor promptly arrived at the scene. Before their arrival, the station staff monitored the condition of the mother and child.

According to doctors, the mother and newborn are feeling well and were taken to the hospital.

The management of the metro expressed gratitude to Naima Makhamadjanova for her professionalism, responsibility and humanity, thanks to which it was possible to preserve the health of the mother and child.
