    The concentration of dangerous fine PM2.5 particles in the Tashkent air exceeds the permissible standards by more than 3 times. It is recommended to reduce your outdoor time and use protective masks.

    According to Uzhydromet, on November 21, 2025, according to automatic atmospheric air monitoring stations, the following air quality indicators were recorded in Tashkent at 09:00:

    The concentration of fine PM10 particles was 267.3 micrograms/m3, which is within the maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of 300 micrograms/m3.;

    The concentration of fine PM2.5 particles reached 187.2 micrograms/m3, which is 3.1 times higher than the maximum permissible concentration (60 micrograms/m3).

    Experts note that an increase in the content of harmful particles in the air is associated not only with sources of pollution, but also with sudden temperature fluctuations. These changes create the phenomenon of temperature inversion, in which fine particles settle in the lower atmosphere, increasing their concentration.

    Recommendations for residents and visitors of the city:

    reduce exposure to the outdoors, especially for children, the elderly, and people with chronic respiratory diseases;

    Use protective masks when going outside.;

    follow the updates and recommendations of the health authorities until the situation normalizes.

    According to forecasts, adverse weather conditions and an increased content of fine particles will persist in the republic for several more days.
