The international forum "Dialogue of Declarations" has started its work in Tashkent

    Today, on May 16, the international forum "Dialogue of Declarations" began its work in the capital

    The event was organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan (ISMI) together with the Institute for Global Engagement (USA) with the support of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the International Islamic Academy, the Academy of Public Administration under the head of our state and the administration of the Samarkand and Bukhara regions.

    Within the framework of the forum, theologians, practitioners, representatives of the clergy of various countries will be presented the best international practices and best foreign experience in organizing an effective dialogue between religions and cultures as an important condition for maintaining peace and harmony in society.

    The Forum will continue its work on May 18 in Samarkand and will end on May 19 with an international conference on the topic "Dialogue of Declarations" in the city of Bukhara, during which the results of scientific and practical seminars will be summed up, an exchange of views on ensuring freedom of religion and interreligious dialogue will be organized, as well as prospects for further cooperation are outlined, the Dune news agency reports.

    The main outcome of the international meeting will be the adoption of the "Bukhara Declaration".
