Illegal drug trafficking has been suppressed in Tashkent

    In the capital, employees of the Tashkent city Police Department, together with other law enforcement agencies, continue operational measures to combat the spread of narcotic drugs.

    So, on February 24 of this year, Georgy Valeryevich Kornienko, born in 1991, was stopped in the Mirabad district, who aroused suspicion by his behavior. As a result of the inspection, in the presence of witnesses, the man was found and seized as evidence in 21 bags of narcotic drugs "hashish" and "Mephedrone".

    Also, on February 28 of this year, at about 22.20 hours in the Yangikhayot district, employees stopped Ilesov Samandar Rustam ugli, born in 2001 and Bakhtiyorov Jamshidbek Sherzod ugli, born in 2001. During the inspection, narcotic substances of synthetic origin, packaged in bags, prepared for bookmarks, were found and seized as physical evidence. Namely, two bags of mephedron. During the clarification of the circumstances, the suspects said that they had hidden bundles of drugs in several places. A total of 18 hidden packages were discovered and seized.

    According to these facts, criminal cases have been initiated under part 5 of article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investigative measures are underway, according to the results of which a legal decision will be made.
