The IV Anti-Corruption Forum was held in Tashkent

    On October 17, Tashkent hosted the IV Anti-Corruption Forum, which brought together more than 250 participants to share experiences and strengthen international cooperation in the fight against corruption.

    The forum was organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan with the support of the EU, UNDP and GIS.

    Key results: Uzbekistan's anti-corruption strategy until 2030, the signing of a memorandum of understanding by the World Bank's Office of Integrity for joint training and project implementation, as well as recognition of Uzbekistan's success in the anti-corruption field following the results of the OECD monitoring in 2023.

    The forum noted the important role of the media and NGOs in promoting transparency and fighting corruption, awarding them for their efforts and contributions in this direction.

    Experts from Azerbaijan, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, the USA and Tajikistan shared their international experience.
