The event brought together representatives of international airports, airlines, management companies and leading aviation industry experts.
The forum opened with welcoming remarks by Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov and Secretary General of the International Transport Forum (ITF) Yong Tae Kim.
During the panel sessions, the participants discussed key trends and challenges of the modern aviation industry, infrastructure development, improving the efficiency of air transportation and the introduction of innovative technologies. Among the speakers are representatives of Boeing, Airbus, TAV Technologies, Vision Invest, Sojitz Corporation, Uzbekistan Airways, Uzbekistan Airports, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and others.
Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports Javlonbek Umarkhodjayev spoke about the large-scale work on the modernization of the airport infrastructure, the introduction of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies, as well as digital solutions aimed at improving the convenience and safety of passengers. He stressed that airport development is an integral part of the strategy for sustainable growth of Uzbekistan's transport system and plays a key role in strengthening the country's transit potential.
Special attention at the forum was paid to the issues of flight safety management, digitalization of aviation processes, the relationship between aviation and tourism, as well as the development of human capital - the training of a new generation of specialists for the industry.
The Forum of National Airlines of the member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (ECO) was also held within the framework of the event, where reforms in the field of civil aviation, prospects for the development of private aviation, sustainable development and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies were discussed.
The Forum ended with a meeting of the ECO Civil Aviation Working Group.
