    The launch meeting of the CT TECH+ program for the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent

    On February 27, 2025, the presentation of the CT TECH+ program for the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent. This initiative is implemented within the framework of the Global Counter-Terrorism Program on Cybersecurity and New Technologies and is funded by the European Union (EU).

    The purpose of the event is the official presentation of the CT TECH+ program in Uzbekistan, as well as the coordination of the action plan for 2025-2026.

    The event was organized by the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center (UN) and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) with the support of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    The presentation was attended by representatives of government agencies, law enforcement agencies and academic circles.

    The CT TECH+ program is aimed at strengthening national counter-terrorism strategies, enhancing the technological capabilities of law enforcement agencies and developing international cooperation in combating terrorist threats related to the use of new technologies. The initiative provides training for specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, open source intelligence (OSINT), as well as countering cyberterrorism and illegal operations on the darknet.

    The official program of the meeting included speeches by representatives of the United Nations, the EU and the Republic of Uzbekistan, discussion of global and regional challenges in the field of cybersecurity, as well as the development of cooperation strategies within the framework of CT TECH+.
