The purpose of the festival is to promote the development of domestic and foreign tourism, popularize the cultural and historical heritage of our country among fellow citizens and guests from abroad, promote the image of our country as a safe tourist destination for travel and recreation.
Within the framework of the festival, which was attended by residents and guests of the capital, exhibitions and sales of handicrafts, contests and master classes, performances of folklore and ethnographic groups and creative collectives were held.
"Visitors to museums and other cultural heritage sites of the capital, being sincere popularizers of these places, become an impulse to launch sales of national souvenirs created by the participants of the festival. And this, of course, helps the employment of artisans, their material and moral support and, as a result, leads to sustainable socio-economic development of Tashkent," the press service of the Tashkent Khokimiyat reports.
At the event organized by the Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Tashkent, several entrepreneurs received licenses in the field of tourism.
