A project for women "Digital Internship Program" has been launched in Tashkent

    A new project "Digital Internship Program" (DIP) has been launched in Tashkent - an internship program for female IT graduates and young entry-level specialists.

    DIP is a joint initiative of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, IT Park, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNDP, aimed at supporting the further development of the digital economy in Uzbekistan, empowering young people, especially women, by building digital entrepreneurship skills, digital tools and improving a favorable environment for the popularization of IT-specialties among young women.

    The event was attended by the curator of the DIP project Muyassar Shermatova, IT Park personnel development managers Zafar Mirsamadov and Shakhnoza Amirkhanova, representatives of IT companies who expressed their willingness to accept young specialists for an internship with further employment opportunities, as well as candidates who have passed the selection stages of the DIP program.

    Muyassar Shermatova told the audience about the main directions of the program, and HR specialists shared their opinion on how to behave correctly at the interview in order to get a dream job. After that, the heads of IT companies spoke, who told about the activities of enterprises and working conditions.

    The program of the event also included an informal part - pizza-party, during which the participants of the project continued to communicate in a relaxed atmosphere in order to establish networking.

    The selection of candidates consisted of two stages: the first one included general and narrow-profile test tasks; the second one was held in the format of an interview with the participation of IT Park and IT companies.
