According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a joint educational forum will be held in Tashkent for the first time during the visit on September 24, the Dunyo news agency reports.
The event will be attended by more than 20 leading Italian universities, such as the Polytechnic University of Turin, the University of Venice of Ca Foscari, Bologna, Pisa, Bicocca Milan, Roma Tre, Tushsha and Siena, as well as 46 leading universities in Uzbekistan. It is planned to sign a number of cooperation agreements between universities of the two countries.
The main part of the forum's agenda is the exchange of students and professors, teacher training, interuniversity cooperation, support for research projects and other important issues in this area.
According to the Italian side, Minister Anna Maria Bernini sets the main goal of this visit to achieve significant results and further develop relations between higher education institutions of the two countries in this area.
