A coworking center has opened at Tashkent State Law University. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akbar Tashkent, acting Rector of TSU Islambek Rustambekov, university management, representatives of the branch of the IT Park in Tashkent, teachers and students. The participants got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created in the center.

The first full-fledged and ultramodern coworking center with an area of more than 500 square meters among state universities. meters include a common workspace (open space), workrooms (office), a library and a recreation area (book cafe), an auditorium (event room) and a room for negotiations and meetings (meeting room).

During the ceremony, Justice Minister Akbar Taskulov noted that technology is taking an increasing place in the legal field and the university must adapt to these realities. He also stressed that the future belongs to technology and already today some legal actions can be carried out without human participation. For example, artificial intelligence can draw up contracts or contracts, can work with electronic documents.

More than 50 students can use the center as a free office, as well as become participants in incubation and acceleration programs of startup projects in the legal field, in particular, in the field of Legal Tech, that is, the introduction of information technology in the work of lawyers.

To financially support students, the University has established and operates an Innovation Fund that finances students' business initiatives on the basis of an impartial and open competition. Methodological support for the creation of IT products is provided to students by the Legal Tech laboratory, and in the direction of business development - by the IT Park.

These advantages of the TSU coworking center make it possible to expand the use of the "University 3.0" model at the university and create conditions for a radical transformation of the legal sphere using modern technologies.

At the event, coworking center specialists presented projects ready for commercialization: a system for monitoring and managing scientific research in universities and research institutions, a database of research results, an online recruitment system for lawyers and a social network for representatives of the field.

In addition, within the framework of the business school operating in the coworking center, the first training from IT park specialists took place.
