In Uzbekistan, diplomas issued by non-state universities that do not have a license from the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are not recognized.

This was reported at a briefing in AIMK with the participation of the head of the information service of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers Shavkat Khodzhakulov.

In our country, there are no obstacles to obtaining a license and operating legally as a non-state higher education institution. For example, if in 2018-2020 the number of licensed non-state higher education institutions was 13, then only in 2021 licenses were issued to 21 non-state higher education institutions.

The State Inspection Service for Supervision warns applicants and parents, before paying a fee to any non-state higher education institution, check whether this institution is listed on the Inspection website or contact the Inspection (+998 71 231 07 53 , press@tdi.uz , @Uztdibot) and check the availability of a license from the selected university.

Do not believe such statements as: "We have applied for a license, they will be issued soon, and you are still studying!".
