    The Decree of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. 578 dated 09/13/2025) approved the Regulation on the procedure for admission to the bachelor's degree in higher education institutions.

    According to the Regulation, admission to the bachelor's degree of universities is carried out on the basis of:

    · state grant, including educational grants in bachelor's degree programs approved by the documents of the President;

    · general admission parameters approved by the State Commission for Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    The entrance exams consist of two sections:

    · The first section is mandatory for all bachelor's degree courses in three subjects: native language, mathematics and the history of Uzbekistan;

    · The second section includes tests in two subjects corresponding to the bachelor's degree chosen by the applicant, or professional (creative) exams.

    The admission process takes place in 2 stages:

    · The first stage (from 5 to 25 June) includes the selection of a range of subjects, the language of instruction and the region of the test;

    · The second stage (within 15 days after the end of the test) involves choosing the university, the bachelor's degree program, the form of study and the priority of choice.

    Information about the points scored by the applicant is announced the next day after passing the test.

    The results of the selection - whether the applicant is recommended for student enrollment or not - are announced on the official website of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications within one week after the completion of the second stage of admission.
