The month is aimed at popularizing national values, customs, folk performing arts, and folk games. This project is a synthesis of our traditions, history, lifestyle, values and spirituality.
The preservation and development of our unique traditions, taking into account the demands of the times, contribute to strengthening a sense of national identity and respect for our cultural values among young people.
Within the framework of the "Month of National Values", much attention is paid to the popularization of national costumes, folk games, performances of art groups, song art (ulans, lapars, thermae, ritual songs, the art of khalf and bakhshi), samples of dance art, national instrumental art, such ancient sports as tug of war, tightrope walking, lifting stones, as well as competitions in the national sport of kurash.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is planned to organize high-level events of the "Month of National Values" and folk festivals throughout the country in March.
