The resolution established that the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health under the Ministry of Health is the executive body responsible for the timely implementation and coordination of the project "Taking urgent measures to combat coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as the targeted and effective use of allocated loans*.
Expenses related to repayment of loans allocated by ADB and AIIB, including surcharges, interest and other payments, are covered by the republican budget of Uzbekistan.
The document approved the main technical and economic parameters of the project "Taking urgent measures to combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the Republic of Uzbekistan" with financial cooperation with ADB and AIIB and its targets.
* An agreement was reached between the Asian Development Bank and Uzbekistan on the allocation of a concessional loan of $100 million for a period of 40 years, including a ten-year grace period, for the implementation of the above-mentioned project;
