For example, the republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers of our country have established an exchange of experience with prestigious clinics in Kazakhstan. Exchanges of teachers and students between a number of medical universities, joint scientific research and advanced training of specialists in this field, master classes and demonstration surgical operations have become more frequent.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, in order to further strengthen these ties, the Days of Kazakh Medicine started yesterday in four regions of our country. About 100 leading medical professionals from a neighboring state have arrived in our country for this purpose.
The events are held in medical institutions of Samarkand, Bukhara, Ferghana regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Over the course of four days, consultations, surgical operations of patients and master classes in cardiology, neurosurgery, traumatology, urology, oncology, gynecology, pediatric surgery, endocrinology and other areas for specialists will be organized with the participation of highly qualified specialists from Kazakhstan.
Joint high-tech surgical operations will also be performed at the National Medical Center and specialized medical institutions in the areas of cardiology, oncology, traumatology, and phthisiology.
In addition, representatives of 7 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan are organizing a scientific Olympiad and sports competitions among students of Tashkent State Medical University.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan will deliver four mobile medical complexes to our country. With their help, the population of the Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions will undergo initial medical examinations.
The final event of the Days of Kazakh Medicine will be the forum "Uzbekistan - Kazakhstan: cooperation towards improving the health of the population", which will be held on October 17 in Tashkent, where prospects for further bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare will be discussed.
