Since January 1, 2025, the national time scale of Uzbekistan (UTC (UZ) is being introduced.

A Time and Frequency Service is being created at the Institute of Metrology, which will provide interested departments and organizations with information about the exact time.

At the same time, this service will be carried out on the basis of PPP with the involvement of Uztelecom JSC as a private partner.

In accordance with the terms of the PPP:

The exact time will be provided to government agencies and other organizations on a paid basis;

90% of the funds received are payable to the private partner.
