Sh. Umurzakov noted the potential of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, stressing the need for new ideas. He noted the attractiveness of Tashkent for business and paid special attention to cooperation in the field of ecology, economics, culture, medicine and education.

Umurzakov also spoke about the Yangi Avlod Special economic zone, its capabilities in supply and logistics, as well as conditions that have already been assessed by world-renowned companies.

Samad Hassanzadeh proposed cooperation in urban planning, the textile industry and the restoration of historical sites, calling for the development of trade and economic ties between Tashkent and Tehran.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue at a more detailed level.
