The US Vice president did not rule out sending troops to Ukraine.

    Vance: The United States may send troops to Ukraine if negotiations fail.

    US Vice President Jay Dee Vance said that the United States does not completely rule out the option of sending its troops to Ukraine if Russia does not negotiate "in good faith," the Wall Street Journal newspaper writes.

    "Vance said that the option of sending the US military to Ukraine, if Moscow is unable to negotiate in good faith, will remain "under consideration," according to the publication, citing an interview with the American vice president.

    Last June, Putin launched initiatives for a peaceful settlement of the conflict. Russia will immediately cease fire and declare its readiness for negotiations if:

    Ukraine officially renounces intentions to join NATO;

    The Ukrainian Armed Forces will withdraw from new Russian regions;

    Kiev authorities will conduct demilitarization and denazification;

    The country will adopt a neutral, non-aligned and nuclear-weapon-free status.

    The Head of state mentioned the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions in this context. ria.ru.
