The Ambassador said that the Republic of Korea considers Uzbekistan as a key partner in the region and is ready to take all measures to further intensify interstate ties. Official Seoul welcomes and supports the progress of large-scale transformations in Uzbekistan and intends to provide all possible assistance in their implementation.

As noted, the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea in December 2021 allowed to bring bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

The readiness of the parties for the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level in all spheres was emphasized.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of planned events, including the next round of inter-ministerial consultations in Tashkent.
