Topical issues of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union in areas of mutual interest were considered.

Organizational and substantive aspects of the first EU-Central Asia Ministerial conference on strengthening interconnectedness and sustainable development, as well as meetings of the EU and Central Asian foreign ministers held in our country this year were discussed.

Special attention is paid to the participation of the European side in the International Conference on Afghanistan (Tashkent, July 25-26, 2022).

The European side is informed about the current situation in Karakalpakstan, the measures taken to prevent the destabilization of the situation, to ensure peace, tranquility and public security in the region, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
