Health.
"The
French Ministry of Health confirmed on Wednesday the identification of the
first case of the Ebola virus in the country. The virus was diagnosed by a
doctor of a humanitarian organization who returned from the Democratic Republic
of the Congo," the publication says.
The patient
was immediately admitted to a specialized medical facility and is currently in
stable condition.
The French
Ministry of Health is monitoring the situation.
An outbreak
of Ebola occurred in eastern DR Congo on May 15. The number of confirmed cases
of Ebola in the DRC has reached 956, and the number of deaths is 247. There are
