This was

According
to data, the robot named "Lightning" achieved this result on Saturday
during test trials in preparation for the second World Humanoid Robot Games
held in Beijing.
The
robot's top speed reached 14.5 meters per second. For comparison, Usain Bolt
ran the 100 meters in 9.58 seconds—this is the current world record set on
August 16, 2009, at the World Championships in Berlin.
In April,
"Lightning" also won a 21-kilometer half-marathon in Beijing,
recording a time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, which is better than the world
record of top human athletes.
During the
half-marathon, the robot's height was 169 centimeters, and its legs were 95
centimeters. Later, researchers increased its leg length by 10 centimeters,
bringing it to 1.05 meters, reported report.az.
