The event was organized by the Committee on Tourism and the Khokimiyat of the Khorezm region and was held in unique locations - the historical Ichan-Kala complex and the modern Arda Khiva tourist center.
If in 2024 the festival attracted more than 500 thousand visitors, including both locals and foreign tourists, then in 2025 the total number of guests exceeded 1 million people, of which about 300 were foreign tourists. This impressive growth highlighted the importance of the festival as a platform for the development of agrotourism and strengthening the tourism potential of the Khorezm region.
All days of the festival were accompanied by bright performances by stars and a rich entertainment program, including workshops, exhibitions and competitions. Among the invited artists are the legendary Tokhir Sadikov, popular singer JONY, DJ Meaghan, Mustafa Djedjeli, Hamdam Sobirov, Gulomjon Yakubov, Gulsanam Mamazoitova, and during the closing ceremony, the guests were pleased with their performance by Rosa Zergerli.
The 19 stands of the festival represented the districts of the Khorezm region, leading farms and other participants, who demonstrated dozens of varieties of melons, as well as products, technologies and achievements of the region. The guests were able to taste a variety of melons, chat with producers and get to know more about the agricultural traditions of Khorezm.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the participants, which became a bright culmination of the festival and gathered a wide audience, was attended by khokim of Khorezm region Jurabek Rakhimov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiyev, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan, as well as journalists from leading local and foreign media covering the event. The winners of the festival were announced: 15 organizations took the third place, Yangibazar district and UzAuto Motors JSC took the second place, Khiva city took the first place, and Urgench won the Grand Prix.
The melon Festival once again confirmed the high tourism potential of the Khorezm region and became an important step towards the development of agrotourism and strengthening the region's image as a modern and hospitable tourist destination.
