The joint venture, which started operating in 2014, will develop in 3 stages. Thus, at the first stage, it is planned to establish a large-node assembly of agricultural machinery, at the second – its industrial assembly, the third phase provides for localization of production.

For this purpose, this year the assembly lines and equipment of XCMG Chinese Corporation were delivered in the amount of $4.3 million. Energy-saving technologies will reduce the cost and increase the competitiveness of products. Import of parts will be replaced by local production, and localization will reach 51 percent in 2021. Currently, it employs 30 people, and in the future, another 60 people will be employed.

The Head of the state inspected the assembly and welding equipment installed at the enterprise, localized equipment and spare parts.

“This plant has a very large potential. But it is not fully used. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze in depth what other products can be produced here, what equipment will need to be purchased from abroad in the coming years, order it and establish cooperation. The plant should develop and become a base for the industry in Khorezm”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted.
