Key issues related to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States were discussed.
Particular attention was given to preparations for the upcoming visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Uzbekistan, the C5+1 ministerial meeting, and the second meeting of the Uzbekistan–U.S. Business and Investment Council.
The importance of developing concrete proposals and projects for the upcoming events, advancing new initiatives and implementing joint projects in priority areas was emphasized.
The growing role of the Business Council was also highlighted. In a short period, it has become an effective platform for strengthening trade and economic ties, attracting investment and advancing joint business initiatives.
The two sides also exchanged views on upcoming international events involving the leaders of Uzbekistan and the United States.
