Kites can rise to significant heights and potentially enter aircraft takeoff and landing paths. This could lead to collisions, technical damage, or emergency situations. Furthermore, strong or reinforced kite strings pose a risk of damaging aircraft equipment or being sucked into engines.

According to Article 17 of the Aviation Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, flying kites in or around airports is classified as an activity that threatens flight safety. Additionally, under Article 116² of the Code of Administrative Liability, unauthorized use of airspace can result in fines ranging from 20 to 100 times the BHM (Base Calculating Amount) or up to 15 days of administrative detention. If such actions lead to an aviation accident, criminal liability may also be incurred.

Residents and guests of the capital are requested to comply with the established restrictions and choose safe areas far from the airport for flying kites. Following these simple rules is an important contribution to flight safety and passenger peace of mind.
