This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

As noted, during the visit of the Ministry of Transport delegation to Kazakhstan, delegation members familiarized themselves with Kazakhstan's cross-border transport and logistics infrastructure. Specifically, they studied the activities of the Altynkol railway station, the terminal of "Kedentransservice" JSC, the "KTZE-Khorgos Gateway" dry port, the "Khorgos — Eastern Gate" special economic zone, and the "Khorgos" international cross-border cooperation center.

During the negotiations, issues of ensuring the continuity of cargo flows along the China — Kazakhstan — Central Asia route, expanding container shipping, developing multimodal transport corridors, and diversifying logistics routes were discussed.

One of the main outcomes of the visit was the achievement of an agreement with the Kazakh side to establish a joint enterprise at the Altynkol station of "Kedentransservice" JSC.

Thus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have outlined a practical step toward further developing cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
