The
scientist visited the Archive of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany in
Berlin and expressed interest in the availability of sources related to the
history of the Uzbek people, statehood, as well as Turan–Turkestan.
It is
reported that the archive management expressed support for the Institute of
History's research in this direction and stated that the necessary conditions
would be created for researchers. Furthermore, the scientist was introduced to
a number of valuable and rare documents preserved in the archive.
Among the
identified sources, there are materials relating to young people sent from our
country to German higher education institutions for studies in the 1920s. In
addition, documents were found regarding the activities of the cultural
commission established in Germany to support them, the history of the Bukharan
People's Soviet Republic, and the Jadid enlightener Khairiniso Majidkhonova.
These
sources will allow introducing new data into scientific circulation regarding
the educational policy, international relations, and history of the national
intelligentsia of Uzbekistan at the beginning of the 20th century.
